Holy Shit had a special engagement at the 2023 Architecture Biennal in Venice hosted by the German Pavilion. The screening took place at the wonderful S.a.L.E. Docks venue, formerly an abandoned salt warehouse, which was occupied by a group of Venetian residents who eventually obtained title to the property and converted it into a multipurpose cultural centre (theatre, cinema, literature, dance, music, social gatherings…) oh, and with a dry composting toilet.

In addition, there was a dialogue about cinema and architecture in the context of the circular economy between the architect Fernando Abruña Charneco FAIA and the director of Holy Shit Rubén Abruña. Fernando participated from San Juan, Puerto Rico, and Rubén from the biennial in Venice, Italy.
