Patrick Mavo is the founder of the Ghetto Research Lab (GRL) in Kamwokya, the largest slum in Kampala Uganda. GRL is the epicenter of change for many residents by promoting the use of composted human excrement from dry toilets, hygiene, water conservation, aquaponics, plastic reuse and more.
