On Monday, June 5th, Rubén Abruña, director of HOLY SHIT, and producer Valentin Thurn visited re:publica 23, the festival for the digital society, in Berlin. This year, the festival was themed “CASH”, which addressed the correlation of social injustice and poverty with the financial market, greed and generosity. Within this, the impact of crises of climate, war and energy were addressed as well. Since our film HOLY SHIT deals, among other things, with possible solutions to the existing problem of food scarcity, re:publica was the ideal venue to present it as part of the “Economy & Responsibility” section. In addition, Iris Lamouyette presented “Holy Shit”, her song for the film, for the first time.
